For ARIES (March 21 to April 19)
*THE EMPRESS*
The Empress is seated on a comfortable cushioned throne. In her right hand there is a scepter and at her side a heart-shaped shield bearing the sigil of Venus, a symbol of love, beauty, and fertility. Upon her head she wears a garland of stars symbolizing abundant hopes instead of a crown. Her throne rests at the edge of a fertile field bearing ripe grains. Behind her we can see a wooded glade lush with growth and abundance overlooking a gentle waterfall. The sky overhead is golden and cloudless.
(Fertility, Abundance/Overabundance, Corruption from spoiling, all that is feminine, life giving, gentle assuredness)
This card is all about "nurturing", Aries. Because it is a card from the Major Arcana, it is a reference to things of overarching importance to a particular point you have reached in your continuous life journey far more than it is a reference to the mundane matters of your day-to-day details. Step back from the daily grind and get the most panoramic perspective possible, because you have drawn a reference to the effect, for good or ill, the whole concept of "nurturance" has had upon your overall existance. This may be just a bit easier if we examine these effects in conjunction with the numerological significance of your card. The number 3 symbolizes the principle of growth. When the initiating force of 1 unites with the germinating energy of 2 there is the fruitfulness of 3. It signifies that there is a synthesis present, an imagination and an outpouring of energy in action. The 3 is optimistic and fun-loving, and strives to uplift and color its surroundings. Its energy is enlivening, youthful, and enthusiastic. Three relates to expansiveness and learning through life experiences. It is considered to be lucky, and is often associated with money and good fortune. Three generally promotes the concept of several people joining together to from a common goal, whether a social or professional affiliation. Although three possesses attributes of wisdom, understanding and knowledge, negatively it can exhibit pessimism, foolhardiness and unnecessary risk taking. Three is ruled by Jupiter and the astrological aspect of the trine, and is educated, wise, and happy. The acquistion or expenditure of resources often features prominently in the number. There is usually a free flow of energy associated with this number, so it is considered lucky to many. Money will come and go easily wherever this influence is significant...and it is most certainly significant to you, or you would not have drawn the Empress. Where she will choose to exert her influence in your personal sphere remains to be seen though, so I would recommend we reconnoiter with the planetary powers just to see if they can offer up a cosmic clue...
You will find some overall information about the cosmic cues for this moonphase in general below, and I think all you gotta do is concentrate on the Bold Keywords to get a grip on the universal indications.. (and if it makes things any easier, scroll down to the picture provided that serves as a sort of a "snapshot" of the planetary picture right around the middle of this moonphase... but there are some celestial signs I want to point out because they are meant especially for you. Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Empress think it means the fertile power of your deepest dreams are in a prime position to give birth to a better brand of reality right now. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to making your inner vision a prominent part of your every-day experience during this Moonphase will highlight how planning your work is what will allow you to successfully work your plan, so this is a good time to get a little direction from the return to direct motion on the part of your daily planetary ruler, Mars, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the pursuit of pleasure. My Gramma used to say "Joy is a flower that blooms when you do"... and this was her way of teaching me to understand that happiness is the natural flower of duty. If you observe really happy people you will find them building a boat, writing a symphony, educating their children, growing double dahlias in a garden, or looking for dinosaur eggs in the Gobi desert. They aren't searching for happiness as if it were a collar button that has rolled under the radiator. Happiness isn't a goal, it's a by-product of living life twenty-four hours of the day. Me, the Universe, and The Empress understand that action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action, Angel... so get moving... reach deep within... find your joy... and let it grow!

For TAURUS (April 20 to May 20)
*THE STAR*
Here we can see an unclothed figure pouring water from two jars, one onto the ground beside her and one into the pool at her feet. She is situated with one foot on the earth and one foot in the water. There are eight stars in the cloudless sky above her at this oasis. On a distant hill there is a tree with a brightly colored bird perched in the branches.
(Hope, Guidance, abundance, life giving, maternal)
There is an old saying about "where there is life, there is hope", but I tend to think this is just backwards Taurus. The way I see it, "where there is hope, there is life", and I am mentioning this because you have drawn a card from the Major Arcana, so, as you no doubt remember from many of our other conversations, this kind of card is a reference to things of overarching importance to a particular point you have reached in your continuous life journey far more than it is a reference to the mundane matters of your day-to-day details. This is a good time for you to step back and get the panoramic perspective on your entire life path. Get the "big picture". Get the "bird's eye view". Take the "long look". The central message of The Star is one of encouragement and hope. It can almost always be regarded as a sign that you are on the "right track". There is extensive numerological significance to support this as well. Among the cards of the Major Arcana, this one is ranked seventeenth, but, because numerology is based on single digit analyses seventeen is reduced, (1+7=8), and is interpreted as a higher octave of the number eight. The number 8 symbolizes the principle of domination, control, and achievement. It is the executive decision-maker. In the lower octave interpretation the 8 tends to be rather formal, stern, and more comfortable in the realm of material, tangible facts. However, the higher octave interpretation introduces a more spiritual connection and intuition. This influence is found often among natural leaders with a good grasp of how to accomplish any goal. Eight is considered to be the number of karmic influences where we are called upon to answer debts incurred in this and previous lives... and a clear indication that... whatever our answer... we are on the "right track". Eight is ruled by the planet Saturn. It is a solid, stable number with firm foundations and established support systems. The guidance offered by these very support systems is exactly the sort of thing that allows you to see The Star as the same hopeful sign that has been trusted by sailors and sojourners since the dawn of time. All have followed the "guiding star" on their journeys... and now, so do you. As to where The Star is presently guiding you? Well.... I bet we can ask the astrological oracles for some cosmic confirmation...
Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines relating to Relevant Relationships offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning . Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Star think it means that as long as you have friends and a community you care about, there is always hope. Even the seemingly impossible can be achieved because what cannot be achieved in one lifetime by one person can happen when one lifetime is joined to another, person to person. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the community interests and common causes during this Moonphase will highlight how much hope you can have when you add your own individual efforts with like-minded others, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Venus, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring higher ideals. My Gramma used to say "It can't be good for the bee if it's bad for the hive"... and this was her way of teaching me that we don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something. Me, the Universe, and The Star want to remind you how important others are to you, and how important you are to others. If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth. This is where you find hope, Honey... In every community there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart there is the power to do it. Make no mistake about it, the hope in your heart is exactly what the whole world needs... right now!

For GEMINI (May 21 to June 20)
*THE KING of CUPS*
A King sits upon a throne which appears to be floating on the turbulent sea. In his right hand he holds a cup and in his left hand a scepter of authority. His right foot touches the waves, as if testing the waters. In the background we can see a smiling fish leaping from the waves behind him and the red sails of a receding boat which has set a course for distant unknown shores. The king wears a golden emblem of a fish on a chain around his neck to signify his comfortable existence in emotional waters.
(Cardinal Water = Cancer, Loving Authority, Ruling through Emotional Manipulation, stability amidst turmoil, comfort, safety, travel)
You are the only one in charge of your own feelings, Gemini, I say this because because you have drawn a Court Card so I expect that you already know it speaks to things that can be defined by the astrological influence of the card (Cardinal Water = Cancer), or it can be about those people in your life who can be described by the personality traits attributed to the image (King of Cups = Masculine, emotional authority), or, it can even be the energies embodied in the draw through a combination of the rank of the card and the elemental correspondence of the suit (Kings = Authority, Cups = Emotional Events). Often, it can be a compilation of all those factors. Kings in the cards of the Tarot are ranked with the number fourteen, and because numerology is based on single digit analyses number fourteen is through reduction (1+4) interpreted as a higher octave of the number five, and is therefore associated with the constructive use of freedom, particularly the kind of freedom found in conquering challenges and overcoming obstacles. Since it focuses on each one of the five senses, there is a tendency to over-eat, over-drink, and cross the "normal" boundaries of sexual exploration. Five is ruled by the planet Mercury and the astrological aspect of the quincunx. It is very communicative and an excellent influence, but it needs to know how to enjoy life and the challenges of freedom of choice without getting stuck in overindulgence and wastefulness. It needs to discover a way to follow through on promises without feeling it is giving away its time or power. There is potential for much passion, conflict, and resistance to control... and it all comes down to the essential issue raised by the King of Cups... "If you don't think you have a right to your own feelings, who do you think does?"... This may just be the best time to query the cosmos for some universal insights into the issue......
Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control . Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning . So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The King of Cups think it means that, as it comes to certain big decisions in both your personal and professional life, you would be well advised to pay careful attention to your feelings. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the the way career concerns can effect your happy home during this Moonphase will highlight how important it is to take the emotional impact of your working world into account as you confront the decisions of your day, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Venus, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the price of professional success. My Gramma used to say "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life"... and this was her way of teaching me that the payoff for all my effort better be more than just a payday. It is important to love what you do in order to do what you love. It's OK to value work. But not just any kind of work. The most valuable kind of work is vital, strengthening your character, inspiring others, and helping the world. Me, the Universe, and The King of Cups want you to make sure that the time, effort, and energy you put into anything you call work is rewarded by more than just money, Muffin. We want you to be able to put your heart into it every bit as much as your head or your hands!

For CANCER (June 21 to July 22)
*THE EMPEROR*
A sovereign ruler wearing a golden bejewelled crown is seated upon a throne decorated with the heads of rams carved into it. This may signify the initiating decisive kind of leadership represented by the sign of Aries. In his right hand he holds a scepter. In his left hand he holds a golden globe which is said to be a symbol of the whole world. Beneath his royal robes we can see that he is wearing armor and thus is prepared for battle. His throne is situated upon the sandy shore of a small river that runs past mountainous cliffs.
(Authority, Ruler, Leadership, Decision, Corruption)
This is all about "Authority", Cancer... and particularly about the way you express it, and are effected by it. This is a card from the Major Arcana, so as I am certain I have mentioned before, it is a reference to the big themes in your continuous life journey. You may want to step back a little now to get the "big picture", because this is gonna be more about the overarching issues of your entire life path far more than it is about the daily details of more mundane matters. I want you to think first about all the things you have heard all your life regarding the issue of "authority". Things like, "leadership is action, not position", or "every man (or woman) is a King (or Queen) in their own castle", or even "question authority". Ok... while you consider all the well known cliches about the issue in general, I'm gonna point out some specific significance to the numerology associated with your draw. Among the cards of the Tarot, this one, The Emperor is ranked with the number four. The number 4 symbolizes the principle of putting ideas into form. It signifies work and productivity. The 4 is constructive, realistic, traditional and cautious. It is the number of system, order, and management. There are many gifts associated with this influence, such as concentration, realistic values, and a systematic approach to problem solving, but there are challenges associated with it as well. Sometimes this energy is rigid, too cautious, or unable to expand beyond a limited viewpoint. Four is a number of stability and building for the future. It has can direct much energy and effort toward the achievement of goals, such as family celebrations or other notable events. Because this is a number of progression and growth, many original ideas are likely to spring forth from what appears to be thin air. Because of the grounded qualities of this number, it has a tendency to be steadfast and can sometimes give the impression of being boring. Four is ruled by Mars and the astrological aspect of the square. It is forceful and dominating with a great deal of stability and is therefore a good number when attempting to build foundations. When 4 is predominant, quite often people will need to overcome obstacles in order to reach their highest potential. So... we're back to you and your life-long relationship with these influences... What do you need to know about "Authority" right now?... How to use it?... How to change it?... How to challenge it?... I'm gonna guess that we can find a couple of celestial signs to help us out with the answers to these... and probably a couple other... questions posed by The Emperor, so come scan the skies with me and we'll see what the heavens have to say about it...
You will find some overall information about the cosmic cues for this moonphase in general below, and I think all you gotta do is concentrate on the Bold Keywords to get a grip on the universal indications... (and if it makes things any easier, scroll down to the picture provided that serves as a sort of a "snapshot" of the planetary picture right around the middle of this moonphase... but there are some celestial signs I want to point out because they are meant especially for you. Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning , is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control . So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Emperor think it means that you are about to be confronted with an opportunity to take on a little... and maybe a lot... more authority. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to communicating your highest ideals during this Moonphase will highlight how successful leadership today ia all about the power of your influence, not the influence of your power, so this is a good time to get a little direction from the motion of your daily planetary ruler, The Moon, moving from a fraction of the firmament featuring philosophy and viewpoint over to a part of your chart concerning ideas and the way they are communicated. My Gramma used to say "There are two kinds of folk who never amount to much... some who cannot do what they are told, and others who can do nothing else"... and this was her way of teaching me that the ultimate authority must always rest with my own reason and critical analysis... to think for myself, even in the face of scorn, ridicule, and laughter. Of course, we know that many brilliant thoughts have been greeted with derision throughout history... but the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown. Me, the Universe, and The Emperor believe you don't need any authority other than your own and you already know how to think for your own self, Sugar... be your own judge, because you are the only real authority with the right to rule over your self!

For LEO (July 23 to Aug 22)
*THE TEN of PENTACLES*
Ten golden pentacles hang beneath an archway decorated with the emblems of a castle keep and balanced scales in a market square. Seated beneath these emblems is an older gentleman with white hair and beard. He is richly robed in a vibrant tapestry of red green and golden color in a pattern of mystical symbols and ripened vines. Two white dogs accompany this gentleman and a small child peers at the dogs from behind his mother while she passes conversation with a wand-carrying man in the market square. The sky overhead is blue and untroubled.
(Group finances or investments, Community resources, family, age, wisdom, deceit, loyalty)
There is strength in numbers, Leo, and nothing shows this to be true more than when you combine all your resources in order to gain the maximum dividend. At least, this is what your current card would suggest. You have pulled a card from the Minor Arcana so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Pentacles (which are a reference to Material Matters) with the energy of Tens (Which are a reference to Completion). In the number 10 we see the final ending as the sequence of pips is over. The cycle has ended and so a new one must begin. Being one more than nine, we find that 10 can often mean "one too many". The number 10 symbolizes the principle of a universal philosophy or consciousness. It is the scientist, and feels at home in the realm of medicine, religion, drama, philosophy and metaphysics. It is a healer and educator, acting often for the greater good of humanity. The 10 looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive, and scientific worlds. Its energy is transformative and global bringing the gifts of understanding, discovery, communication, influence... but... these gifts are often balanced by the challenges represented by dogmatic rigidity and intolerance. Because numerology is based on single digit analyses ten is reduced, (1+0=1), and is interpreted as a higher octave of the number one so it signifies an end of an important cycle in which a change in circumstances will soon be forthcoming. It carries with it much in the way of esoteric implication which is evidenced by the fact that it takes ten lunar months to bring a baby from conception into the world, there are ten sephiroth in many versions of the kaballah, the most common number system used today is based on the number ten, and most currencies in use today have been decimalised. It should be noted that ten is considered the be the modern number of completion because it was only within the last several hundred years that is has been used as the fundamental building block of number systems, currencies and measurements. When ten replaced twelve as the ultimate number, it heralded a change in man’s thinking patterns to become more scientific in his approach to questions of an esoteric nature.... so... in the interest of approaching those questions of an esoteric nature, I would suggest that we drag out our mental telescopes in order to get the best view of all the hints in the heavenly horizon right now...
Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control , is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships . So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Ten of Pentacles think it means that you should act now to preserve every option for a stunningly siccessful future. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to keeping material matters under control during this Moonphase will highlight the difference between mere money and real value, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, the Sun, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring why a good back-up plan can preserve your chance to gain much more than just a chance to count compounded interest. My Gramma used to say "Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that"... and this was her way of teaching me that the real measure of wealth is how much you'd be worth if you lost all your money. There's no doubt that it's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy. Me, the Universe, and The Ten of Pentacles understand that being a person of success is different than being a person of value, Vixen... so... put your work into something worthwhile... not just something worth a few dollars more!

For VIRGO (August 23 to September 22)
*THE TEN of SWORDS*
A red cloaked figure lays face down beside a waveless shoreline. A black starless sky is barely illuminated by the last rays of a setting sun. There are ten swords rising from the back of the prone figure and his head is turned toward the shoreline concealing his face. This still figure's right hand is visible and slightly cupped revealing fingers that may be crossed.
(Defeat, Stabbed in the Back, death, an ending, betrayal, hope in the distance)
There isn't much left to discuss, Virgo. I say this because you have pulled a card from the Minor Arcana so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Swords (which are a reference to Intellectual Issues) with the energy of Tens (Which are a reference to Closure). There are times when "intellectual closure" is a good and needful thing, and it speaks to a complete understanding of some issue. However... there are other times... and in those other times "intellectual closure" is more like that old joke about "don't try to confuse me with the facts, because my mind is already made up" and the Ten of Swords is a reference to just such a time. This is when diplomacy ends. This is the conclusion to any and all further negotiations. This is when there is literally nothing left to say. So what comes next? well, let's take a look at the numerology associated with your draw, shall we? In the number 10 we see the final ending. The cycle has ended and a new one is beginning. Because numerology is based on single digit analyses ten is reduced, (1+0=1), and is interpreted as a higher octave of the number one. but, still containing the overtones of it's unreduced expression as one more than nine, you could say that 10 means "one too many". This number symbolizes the principle of a universal philosophy or consciousness. It is the scientist, and feels at home in the realm of medicine, religion, drama, philosophy and metaphysics. It is a healer and educator, acting often for the greater good of humanity. It looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive, and scientific worlds. Its energy is transformative and global. As a higher octave of the number one this influence signifies the end of an important cycle in which a change in circumstances will soon be forthcoming. It carries with it much esoteric significance which is evidenced by the fact that it takes ten lunar months to bring a baby from conception into the world, there are ten sephiroth in many versions of the kaballah, the most common number system used today is based on the number ten, and most currencies in use today have been decimalised. It should be noted that ten is considered the be the modern number of completion because it was only within the last several hundred years that is has been used as the fundamental building block of number systems, currencies and measurements. When ten replaced twelve as the ultimate number, it heralded a change in man’s thinking patterns to become more scientific in his approach to questions of an esoteric nature. And, what does this all mean to you and your Ten of Swords? Well, I think we can scan the skies for a heavenly hint...
Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships , is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating
Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines . So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Ten of Swords think it means that if you speak in haste, you will probably make the best speech you'll ever regret. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the difference between the way you relate to all others and the way you want all others to relate to you during this Moonphase will highlight how wise it will be to hold your tongue until all the evidence is available, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Mercury, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring everyday issues and regular routines. My Gramma used to say "You have two ears and one mouth, you can do the math yourself"... and this was her way of teaching me to do twice as much listening as speaking. No one ever listens themselves out of an opportunity. Your ears will almost never get you into as much trouble as your tongue can. And, even though it's true that it takes a certain kind of courage to stand up and speak, there is a greater courage needed to sit down and listen. Me, the Universe, and The Ten of Swords want you to tap into that particular brand of bravery right now, Niblet... because listening to every side of every issue you encounter may be the only way to hear what isn't being said!

For LIBRA (September 23 to October 23)
*THE NINE of PENTACLES*
A richly robed noblewoman relaxes in a bountiful and apparently fruitful garden. Seated on her gloved left hand is a hooded hawk, a symbol of the leisure pursuits of the rich. In the far distance there are city walls beyond a line of trees. The landscape appears to be calm beneath a golden sunset.
(Material Comfort, reaping the harvest, slow paced, powerful, natural succession)
As it comes to "material comfort", Libra, nobody does it better than you, at least that's what it looks like from the perspective of your draw. You have pulled a card from the Minor Arcana so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Pentacles (which are a reference to Material Matters) with the energy of Nines (Which are a reference to Personal Completion). The attainment of a personal goal in the material world often signifies the fulfillment of a debt or obligation or the achievement of an advancement or promotion that results in an increase in material wealth of some kind. Sometimes this achievement is reflected in direct financial terms, but sometimes it can be in the form of more an increase in other resources that ease your life and increase your personal pleasure in your circumstances. In either event, the Nine of Pentacles is an indication that you are poised now to reap the rewards of past efforts. The numerological significance of this card is also aligned with the whole concept of "completion" as well. 9 is the last single digit in the numerical series. It, therefore, carries a connotation of completion or the ending of a cycle. It can signify the wisdom that is achieved toward the end of a cycle. The number 9 symbolizes the principle of a complete personal philosophy or consciousness. It is the dreamer, and feels at home in the realm of the arts, medicine, religion, drama, and philosophy and metaphysics. It is a healer and educator, acting always for the benefit of others. The nine looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive, and creative worlds. Its energy is loving, compassionate, diffuse, and global. Nine was considered to be a sacred number by the ancients and was consequently not assigned a numerical equivalent to any letter in the Chaldean alphabet. It represents change, invention and growth which springs forth from inspiration. Nine has traditionally held esoteric significance which is evidenced by the fact that it takes nine calendar months to bring a baby into the world from its initial conception. Nine is ruled by the planet Uranus. So it is very eccentric and unusual in nature. Where this number is prominent invention and ingenuity are very important elements to any given situation.... and as we consider the influence of nine in your own personal situation, we should find it fairly easy to "count your blessings"... probably well past the limitations of single digits. If we're looking for a rather more complete evaluation of the positive power of your personal completion in the material world, perhaps we should prevail upon the planetary pathways for a more perfect picture...
Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines , is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Nine of Pentacles think it means that you have everything you really need right now to be happy... right now. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the essential entanglement between your daily duties and your deepest dreams during this Moonphase will highlight the way doing what you love every day is the secret to loving what you do every day, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Venus, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the details of your daily experience. My Gramma used to say "Life is a mission, not an intermission"... and this was her way of teaching me to make the most of every minute... right here... right now. Don't fall into the snare of "someday"... you have everything you really need to find full satisfaction right where you are... in the here and now... not somewhere else in some far off future . Me, the Universe, and The Nine of Pentacles want you to know that there is no reason to roam the world searching for happiness when you have it growing beneath your own two feet, Foxy... do what you love today, and then do it again tomorrow, and then do it again every day after that. Don't "save it for good".... because the real truth is... it's "good" right now!

For SCORPIO (October 24 to November 22)
*THE EIGHT of PENTACLES*
A lone, conscientious, artist is hard at work. Seven pentacles reflecting material accomplishment, are already finished and the artist is completing an eighth one. In the distance there is a golden path that leads through a dense woodland to a pristine city illuminated beneath a clear mid-day sky.
(Material Accomplishment, Final Touches, Reaching Conclusion, work, achievement, pride, close to an end)
You have drawn a card from the Minor Arcana, again Scorpio, so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Pentacles (which are a reference to Material Matters) with the energy of Eights (Which are a reference to Control). Now, it doesn't take much to see how easy it is to take these keywords and come up with a phrase something like "material management" and, if you did, good for you! This is because the number eight symbolizes the principle of domination, control, and achievement. It is the executive decision-maker. The energy of eight is found among natural leaders with a good grasp of how to accomplish any goal, through decisiveness, courage, and focus. Eight is considered to be the number of karmic influences where we are called upon to pay debts incurred in this and previous lives. It represents hard work and lessons learned through experience, and can therefore be a difficult number for some because of the very restrictiveness of its nature. Because reputation and community standing are of paramount importance, those who have it figured prominently would be wise to lead honest lives, otherwise any indiscretions will more than likely be uncovered in a most unflattering manner. Eight is ruled by the planet Saturn. It is a solid, stable number with limitations and boundaries that may (if you are a really good "material manager"...) be transcended. Those individuals who have this number prominent in their life usually must learn by experience.... and there is no reason to believe that your past experience isn't serving you well right now. Particularly if you have been working extra hard to get ahead, and to give you a little extra margin for ... well.... for those "just inn case" feelings that you have learned to pay attention to through your past experience... Now may be the best time to peek at the planetary positions... just to see where all this recent "material management" has gotten you...
Your 5th House embracing Entertainment and Leisure Pursuits, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication . Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Eight of Pentacles think it means that, as important as work is, it is also important that it not be the same as drudgery. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to making your innate industry more enjoyable during this Moonphase will highlight how to inject more satisfaction into your search for success, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Pluto, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring commerce and communication in general, and your own personal sense of satisfaction in specific. My Gramma used to say "If you want to gather honey, don't crush the beehive"... and this was her way of teaching me that sometimes I could accomplish more with a little bit of a lighter touch. If your work is becoming a crushing bore, there's a very great danger that you are too. Work is an inanimate thing and only becomes lively and interesting if you are inspired to inject yourself into it. Me, the Universe, and The Eight of Pentacles don't want you to let your work suck all the fun out of your world, Winner. There is work that is work and there is play that is play. There is play that is work and work that is play. And in only one of these lies happiness. I would choose that one if I were you!

For SAGITTARIUS (November 23 to December 21)
*THE SEVEN of SWORDS*
A tip-toeing figure removes five of seven swords from a amidst the brightly striped tents of a small, encampment. The sky is well-lit and cloudless and in the distance there are several silhouetted figures conferring amongst themselves. It does not appear as if they notice this stealthy sword-carrier. Two swords remain upright as the retreating figure casts a backward glance in their direction.
(Stealth, Theft, Lies, tricks, deception, illusion)
One of my favorite authors once said "there are lies... there are damn lies... and there are statistics!" and, while I am utterly charmed by the way this is worded... I think the message is still pretty serious, Sagittarius. You see, you have pulled a card from the Minor Arcana so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Swords (which are a reference to Intellectual Issues) with the energy of Sevens (Which are a reference to Mystery). Now, sometimes an "intellectual mystery" is a good way to sharpen up your analytical skills by solving a riddle or piecing together a puzzle, but, there are other times when the mystery is a little more deliberate... and deceptive... and this is what the Seven of Swords is warning you about. The number 7 symbolizes humanity's deep inner need to uinravel the mysteries of life... to find depth, meaning, and spiritual connection. The 7 is an investigator, an inventor, and must have solitude in which to find the inner voice. Sevens tend to be different, eccentric, or loners and are very discriminating in all areas. The gifts of this energy are mental understanding, analysis, and perfection, but the challenges of this energy balance these gifts through a tendency toward pridefulness, rigidity, or resentment. Seven is considered to be a spiritual number because it is illusive and contains veils which must first be uncovered, one after another, before illumination will ultimately be found. Seven is said to be sacred, and this is evidenced by the fact that there are seven days in the week, ancient texts propose that the earth was formed in seven phases, the ancient solar system consisted of seven luminaries, and some versions of the kaballah have seven sephiroth. While seven possesses qualities of dreaminess, spirituality and psychic awareness, negatively it can be dubious, deceptive and insincere. Seven is ruled by the planet Neptune. It is a very spiritual number that is not limited by the constraints of the physical world. This is the number of mystics, visionaries, and seers. Because this number is associated with idealism, depression can easily manifest itself when our expectations of others and our goals are not met. This number as many surreal, or unreal, qualities to it... and I think this is only one indication that the dweception you need to see through now (deliberate or not) could best benefit from a clue or two found in the more mystical districts of the universe ...
Your 4th House detailing Domestic Lifestyle and Sense of Security, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication . So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Seven of Swords think it means that if you make moves to advance professionally right now you have a good chance of realizing a big benefit in the not too terribly distant future. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to advancing your access to knowlege and information during this Moonphase highlights the way education can open your mind to knowing what you didn't even know you didn't know, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Jupiter, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the expansion of your own personal comfort zone. My Gramma used to say "You cannot read the handwriting on the wall if you cannot read"... and this was her way of teaching me that the real value of education is the ability to use it for your own best benefit. To learn enough of the basics so you can apply what you know to the discovery of everything else you need to know. Me, the Universe, and The Seven of Swords think you already know more than you think you do, Darling... and if you apply that knowlege now, you will reap a far finer future than if you simply allow all the facts to blind you to the truth buried beneath them. If it's true that "knowlege is power", then it's time for you to power up!

For CAPRICORN (December 22 to January 19)
*THE MOON*
A path winds from the shoreline through the land between two towers. Overhead a sober faced moon eclipses the sun. There is a dog (which may represent the Ego), a wolf (which may represent the Id), and a crayfish (which may represent the Superego) on the beginning of this path speaking to uncertainties, obscurities, and the unknown mysteries that stir the wild thing in us all. This is reflected in the depiction of a dog and his feral cousin, the wolf, howling together even as their differences are stripped away beneath the untamed influence of the Moon.
(Deception, Uncertainty, the unseen, the long path)
There are unknown mysteries that stir the the wild thing in us all, Capricorn, and one measure of our experience is in how we face these unknowns. I am mentioning this because you have drawn a card from the Major Arcana, so, as you no doubt remember from our other conversations, this kind of card is a reference to things of overarching importance to a particular point you have reached in your continuous life journey far more than it is a reference to the mundane matters of your day-to-day details. This is a good time for you to step back and get the panoramic perspective on your entire life path. Get the "big picture". Get the "bird's eye view". Take the "long look". The influence of The Moon cannot be denied. It tugs at the tides with the same mysterious pull that it uses to tug at out imaginations... and this can encourage us to great achievements, or, lead us down the deceptive path of fatal foolishness. And so it is up to us to choose our steps carefully for they can lead to "giant leaps for mankind" in almost the same way as they can lead to a headlong tumble down a slippery slope. There is a certain amount of numerological significance to support this as well. Among the cards of the Major Arcana, this one is ranked eighteenth, but, because numerology is based on single digit analyses eighteen is reduced, (1+8=9), and is interpreted as a higher octave of the number nine. The 9 is the last single digit in the series. It can signify the wisdom that is achieved at the completion or ending of a cycle. And as such, symbolizes the principle of a complete personal philosophy or consciousness. The 9 looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive, and creative worlds. Its energy is loving, compassionate, and expansive. It is very eccentric and unusual in nature... so you can be sure that wherever this number is prominent invention and ingenuity will be the hallmark of almost every activity... and... it takes a certain amount of ingenuity to respond to the tug of the Moon without utterly abandoning our chosen path to answer the stirrings of the wild thing within... doesn't it? Well, the universe has a thing or two to tell you about ingenuity... and how you can make the best use of yours this moonphase.... so why don't you come with me to scan the skies... and we'll see what we see....
Your 3rd House connecting Commerce and Communication, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning . Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 10th House covering Career, Status, Reputation, and Honor offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Moon think it means that understanding enough to formulate a question is the first step on the road to wisdom. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the the difference between your casual communications and your higher ideals during this Moonphase will highlight why it is so very important to "walk the walk" if you are going to "talk the talk", so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Saturn, moving retrograde through a fraction of the firmament featuring the things that can make, or break, your reputation. My Gramma used to say "It's hard for an empty bag to stand upright"... and this was her way of teaching me to understand that having the courage of your convictions means actually having convictions. Having the strength of belief actually requires having belief. And having the fortitude of faith requires actually having some faith. New understandings often appear first as jokes and fancies, then as blasphemies and treason, then as questions open to discussion, and finally as established truths. Me, the Universe, and The Moon know that if there is a stage at which an individual life becomes truly adult, it must be when we accept responsibility for a life lived in the middle of contradiction, because there are simply no answers to some of the great pressing questions, Quicksilver... but, it's important to ask anyway. You can tell whether someone is clever by their answers... but you discover the depth of someone's true wisdom by the quality of their questions... so... the essential issue is.... are you "talking the talk" with clever answers? or are you "walking the walk" on the path of wise questions?

For AQUARIUS (January 20 to February 19)
*THE SIX of CUPS*
Here we can see two happy children innocently playing in a pleasant garden bordered with white flower filled cups. One child offers a sixth cup, also with a white flower in it, to the other child. The children, absorbed in their play, appear oblivious to a staff wielding guardian in the background.
(nostalgia, that was then-this is now, renewal, young love, innocence, trust, gifts coming to you)
Are you wishing you were back in the "good old days", Aquarius? I gotta ask because you have drawn a card from the Minor Arcana so it is all about the elemental correspondence of the suit in combination with the numerological significance of the card. In this case you are combining the energy of Cups (which are a reference to Emotional Events) with the energy of Sixes (Which are a reference to Success). There is, though, an element of nostalgia associated with this draw that isn't quite as present in the other cards ranked with the number six... almost as though you are so focused on how good, or easy, or overall "better" things used to be that you may actually be in danger of ruining your present emotional success. I want to draw your attention to the insight from the numerology associated with your card. The number 6 symbolizes the principle of nurturing, caring, and harmony. It signifies the need for stability and a solid home-base with comfort. It is the teacher, trainer, and parent. It is happiest in conventional or familiar surroundings opinionated and frugal or anxious when insecure. The 6 is rarely selfish, and may take on the burdens of others unnecessarily. It loves tradition, and is health-oriented. This influence brings many gifts, such as caring, an ability to compromise, and reliability. However, there are also challenges associated with this influence, like anxiety, subservience, codependency, and guilt. Six relates to tact, beauty and harmony. It is very much a relationship builder which corresponds to one-to-one encounters. It deals with that which we are attracted to and those things we find great pleasure in. Six possesses charm, grace and the ability to make small talk on any stratum, and is therefore much of a diplomat. It is considered to be a minor money number, so a little extra income will be available wherever this number is found. Negatively, 6 can be unfaithful, jealous, bitter and vengeful. Because six is ruled by the planet Venus and the astrological aspect of the sextile, it is a pleasant, harmonious number that governs the arts and music. This influence brings a free flow of energy, which will enable many opportunities for success to come to the individuals who this number has touched... and one of those individuals is you... so... you gotta ask yourself... "what was so good about the good old days"?... I suspect you will find that your own ability to enjoy the moment ... then and now... is the "good stuff" ... not frozen in time... but... very much present... so... what do you say?... Do you want to continue to review your "glory days" or do you want to discover the glories waiting up there ahead of all your tomorrows?... it's up to you... but, if you think there's a chance you will need to see past tomorrow.... I might have an astrological clue or two for you...
Your 2nd House involving Earnings, Income, Wealth, and Value, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control . Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 9th House featuring Philosophy, Viewpoint, and Life-long Learning offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The Six of Cups think it means that this would be a good time for you to remember the value of experience. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to assessing the importance of... well everything... including lessons learned through hard won wisdom... during this Moonphase highlights how nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Uranus, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the proof of profit. My Gramma used to say "Experience is what you get by not having it when you need it the first time"... and this was her way of teaching me to understand the value of every life-event, especially the ones that were mostly mistakes. Good judgment comes from experience, and often experience comes from bad judgment... so it's wise not to judge your inexperienced judgments too harshly, particularly if you are at a point where you can learn from them instead. Me, the Universe, and The Six of Cups understand that the difference between education and experience is pretty simple. Education is when you read the fine print, and experience is what you get when you don't , Dear... so let yourself off the hook a little. Because the wisdom you win by ... for example... trying to catch a tiger by the tail, teaches you something you simply wouldn't have learned in any other way!

For PISCES (February 20 to March 20)
*THE WORLD (reversed)*
An androgynous figure at the center of a laurel wreath decorated at the top and bottom with ribbons that form the figure of the lemniscate, the symbol for infinity. At the four corners of this card are enigmatic faces, perhaps a bird, a calf, a lion and a man. It is suggested that these represent the creatures that announced the breaking of the four seals in the biblical book of Revelations.
(The End of a Cycle, all things combined, balance)
You have reached the end of this cycle, Pisces, and this means you can expect a new cycle to begin. You have drawn a card from the Major Arcana, so, as I may have mentioned before, this card is a reference to things of overarching importance to a particular point you have reached in your continuous life journey far more than it is a reference to the mundane matters of your day-to-day details. Step back a bit and get the broadest perspective on your life possible, please. Take a look at things from the "bird's eye view". What do you see? Accomplishment? A history of obstacles overcome and wisdom attained? This is exactly what I see too. But I see a couple of other things as well. Thing One: this is the same card you drew in the last Moonphase. Thing Two: this time you have drawn your card in a reversed position. Now before you go off assuming the simplistic assessment that a reversed card is an indication that all you gotta do is take the normal interpretation and overturn the meaning, let me caution you that reversals are far more subtle than that. They may indicate a delay, or a block, or an internal (rather than external) manifestation. Indeed, reversals can be viewed in all of these ways, but they should almost never be seen as an automatic inversion of the standard connotation. Because The World is the final card in the Tarot and is ranked, among the cards of the Major Arcana with the number 21. Because numerology is based on single digit analyses Tewnty One is reduced, (2+1=3), and is interpreted as a higher octave of the number Three, a number of Synergy. The number 3 symbolizes the principle of growth. When the initiating force of 1 unites with the germinating energy of 2 there is the synthesis of both to result in the synergy of 3. This influence is optimistic and fun-loving, and strives to uplift and color its surroundings. Its energy is enlivening, youthful, and enthusiastic. Three relates to expansiveness and learning through life experiences. It is considered to be lucky, and is often associated with money and good fortune. Three generally inspires people to join together to form a common goal, whether a social or professional affiliation. Although three possesses attributes of wisdom, understanding and knowledge, these qualities muct be fostered and nourished lest they "tip over" into the less positive expressions of pessimism, foolhardiness and unnecessary risk taking. Three is ruled by Jupiter and the astrological aspect of the trine, and is educated, wise, and happy. The acquistion or expenditure of money often features prominently in the number. There is usually a free flow of energy associated with this number, and... of course... the reversed influence over all of these other indications are telling me that whatever you thought finished... whatever conclusions reached... whatever final decisions finally decided... well... matters may not be as "over with" as they seem... at least not just yet. This is the kind of uncertainty that makes it hard to know if you are ending the beginning or beginning the ending, and, while I'm not sure you can expect an exact map... I am willing to bet you can feel out the firmament for the best possible planetary perception of all the potent potential you can expect to be encountering...
Your 1st House securing Self Image and First Impressions, is where you will find a majority of the astrological action advanced by the intuitive intelligence of the New Moon, accompanied by the successful strength of The Sun, promoting the passionate persuasion of Venus in concert with the optimistic attitude associated with Jupiter and amplified under the unexpected intensity of Uranus. The adventurous activity of Mars, moving retrograde through Your 6th House defining Daily Duties and Regular Routines will shift to a more direct direction and this will amplify the full power of the Full Moon illuminating Your 7th House relating to Relevant Relationships. Of course, you can continue to count on the benefit of the stable stance of Saturn revisiting a retrograde course through Your 8th House engaging Emergency Management and Crisis Control offering a bit of balance to the regenerative reach of Pluto in Your 11th House containing the Causes You Champion and the Company You Keep. Finally, you should be able to feel the full effect of the cognitive concentration provided by Mercury communicating the idealistic impulses of Neptune in Your 12th House holding Hidden Impulses and Unconscious Urges. So what does this all mean? Well, me, the Universe, and The World (reversed) think it means that fear of change may be interfering with your forward momentum right now. The anticipated itinerary of The Moon along the hunk of the heavens holding the key to the way you relate to every aspect of your world... including your relationship with your own inner self during this Moonphase will highlight how habitual patterns can become almost unbreakable chains, so this is a good time to get a little direction from your daily planetary ruler, Neptune, moving through a fraction of the firmament featuring the power of the past to hold you back... and how to finally free yourself from these habitual hobbles. My Gramma used to say "If the shoe doesn't fit, you don't change the foot"... and this was her way of teaching me that throwing away energy trying to adapt to unsuitable surroundings serves only to preserve the illusion of a familiar retreat rather than facing the confrontation of a creative breakthrough. No one can say whether things will get better if we change our circumstances... but almost everyone can agree that certain circumstances must change if things are to get better. Me, the Universe, and The World (reversed) understand that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers. There comes a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud is more painful than the risk it takes to blossom, Baby... and you cannot embrace the beginning of the new unless you can accept the end of the old. Think of it this way. What the caterpillar calls *the end*, the rest of the world knows as the butterfly it was always meant to be!
